Lauren Billys

Lauren entered the world of three-day eventing at the age of eight, where she fell in love with horses in an unconventional, organic manner. In the homely barn, Mountain View Corrals, she learned to ride with her best friends in boxer shorts, tennis shoes, and half chaps. From this beginning to now, Lauren has grown in the sport of three-day eventing from a young, horse-loving girl to a competitive force in the United States eventing community.

Horses

Ginger is a 2002 Irish Sport Horse that was imported from Ireland and Lauren received in February of 2007. When Ginger came into training with Lauren, she had done novice and now competes at intermediate. Ginger excels at all three phases of three-day eventing. She consistently places in the top five after dressage and jumps her heart out over each fence. She is a careful horse and because of this has need some extra time to bring along the levels, but in the end this trait has served her well making her a thoughtful horse to ride in all three phases.

Training Services

Currently based out of Sanger, California, Lauren offers a variety of services for horse and rider pairs. Lauren has trained with many top professionals in the horse community, and carried a diversity of equestrian jobs that have broadened her skills from horse management to competition. Lauren currently has a variety of clients by working with the local pony clubs, young riders, and adult amateurs. Lauren is currently available to take horses and rider in to full or partial training.
