Over the past year, Lauren had been vying for a place to compete in the Olympic Games by becoming one of the top three ranked individual riders in the Western hemisphere of the world.  In March of 2016, Lauren WON her position to compete in the 2016 Olympic Games!  Lauren had the opportunity to compete for the United States’ Territory of Puerto Rico due to her Puerto Rican heritage and exceptional riding ability.  The Puerto Rican Equestrian team pursued her for their team in 2010.
